Thanks to National Lottery Communities Funding We Are Wonder are currently running monthly meet-ups where we support you to focus on making something out of natural materials with your own hands, and we always have the fire on. These sessions run through the winter months and all resources and materials are provided, along with a cup of tea.

Held on the first Saturday afternoon of the month, in East Pollokshields Quad, Glasgow, these sessions are in collaboration with the Sophie at Glasgow Forest School and we will bring along guest facilitators for special themed sessions. More info below.

🪵 Saturday 1st November 2025 – WOOD / WHITTLE

Trinkets & keepsakes: Carve and decorate your own tiny treasures – from mushrooms and elves to a miniature fairy village – using hazel, willow and lime.

🌱 Saturday 6th December 2025 – WEAVE / WILLOW

Festive Nature: Create and decorate a willow circle to bring some greenery home during the festive season.

🔥 Saturday 10th January 2026 – WOOD / FIRE

Charcoal & Zines: Reflect on the darker months with artist Dani MacDonald. Make your own charcoal and create a nature-inspired zine to take home.
